What's the difference between permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor and adsorption boring machine?
(1) different operating principles
According to the principle of freezing and dehumidification, the cold and dry machine cools the full compressed air from the upstream to a certain dew point temperature through heat exchange with the refrigerant, condenses a lot of liquid water, and actively discharges it out of the machine after being separated by the gas-liquid separator, and then reaches the purpose of dehydration and dry. On the other hand, according to the principle of pressure swing adsorption, the dryer makes the full compressed air from the upstream come into contact with the drying agent under a certain pressure, absorbs most of the moisture in the drying agent, and the dried air enters the downstream for operation, and then reaches the intention of deep drying.
(2) difference in water removal effect
Because of its principle, if the temperature is too low, it will freeze, so its dew point temperature is generally 2 ~ 10. The dryers do not need to change the temperature, and the dryers (alumina) can be deeply dry, so the dew point temperature at the outlet can generally reach below - 20, that is, deep dryness can be completed.
(3) difference in energy loss
As for the cold dryer, because the cooling can only be completed through refrigerant compression, the power supply will be higher. As long as the valve is controlled by the electric control cabinet, the power consumption of the dryer is generally only a few tens of watts, which means that there will be no power consumption.
4. Gas loss difference
Because the cold dryer can change the temperature to remove moisture, the water will be discharged from the machine through the active drain, which will not cause air loss. However, since the drying agent needs to be regenerated after being saturated with water, about 12-15% of the regeneration gas needs to be lost.
Five different failure rates
Because the refrigeration system and the air system (including the electrical part) are messy, only the valves of the air dryer may fail due to frequent actions, so the failure rate of the air dryer is generally lower than that of the air dryer.
Generally speaking, suction dryers are better than cold dryers in stability and effect, just because they need to lose a certain amount of regeneration gas, so we generally ask customers to choose after weighing the pros and cons. However, more and more manufacturers choose dryers, which is becoming a trend.
